The Path That Led to FieldBody
I’m Emilia Lapinska. From a lifelong journey of movement, creativity, and exploring the body’s wisdom, I developed FieldBody — a method that helps people find presence, clarity, and ease in their bodies and move through life with confidence.
I drew on the guidance of my teachers along the way. I’m a graduate of the Tamalpa Institute, where I trained in somatic movement and expressive arts, and I hold advanced certification in Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC) with Dr. Melanie Salmon. These experiences shaped FieldBody into a method that is experiential, intuitive, and grounded in awareness.
Movement as Language
Dance has been my first language since I could walk — a way to express what I felt before I had words. Creativity has always been my companion: as a child in Poland, I learned to express myself through clothing and style, helping my mother sew at our kitchen table. Patterns, colors, textures — how I combined them shaped how I showed up in the world.
Resilience Through Experience
I’ve also lived through moments that changed me. I’ve witnessed violence, survived a home invasion at gunpoint, and lived with depression and anxiety. These experiences taught me the importance of reclaiming safety, presence, and trust in the body. FieldBody grew from those real moments — from learning, repeatedly, to listen to the body’s wisdom and meet it with compassion. My approach is gentle and empathetic, shaped as much by lived experience as by professional training. I understand what it’s like to feel disconnected or unsafe in your own skin, and I also know the quiet joy of coming home to yourself.
Have you ever felt a moment when your body and awareness expanded beyond yourself?
In 2018, during a period of deep meditation, I experienced a shift that changed everything. Energy rose through my body and reached my heart, which felt as if it opened into countless tiny sparks of light, shimmering from within. In that moment, the boundaries of my body dissolved, and I felt a profound sense of connection — part of something larger, alive, and infinite. That experience rewired how I move, feel, and perceive the world, and it ultimately guided me toward creating FieldBody — a method that helps others access presence, clarity, and the natural flow of their own energy.
Daily Practices That Keep Me Grounded
Every day, I bring my own practice of body awareness and presence into my work — not as routines, but as ways to stay connected to what’s alive and true in the moment.
Who I Am Today
This isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. Shaped by where I’ve lived, what I’ve survived, and my deep belief in the body’s ability to heal, create, and remember itself. If you want honest support from someone who’s been there, I’m here.
